Research fund card
[Latest] Information on research fund card application, re-issuance, limit increase, cancellation, and request for cooperation Shortcut
- Submit request for cooperation first if there is no payment account for the corporate research fund card
- Request for cooperation must be approved by principal investigator
- Payment day: Woori BC 5th / Shinhan 17th / IBK BC 23rd of each month
- Late payments for research fund cards will result in suspension of all research fund cards of the institute
- Shinhan card for EZbaro project, IBK BC for RCMS projects, and Woori BC for other projects
- Application cannot be attached when submitting request for cooperation; complete application, and submit original to the managing department
- Each principal investigator may request up to two Shinhan cards, one IBK BC card, and two KAIST corporate research fund cards

- How to apply: Visit EZbaro or respective project management site ➤ Complete online application ➤ Click "institutional manager request" button ➤ Send approval request e-mail to person-in-charge (kbs92@kaist.ac.kr) (specify project manager/card applicant/protect title)
- One card application per researcher with the approval of the principal investigator

- Send request for cooperation at least two weeks before renewal expiry (re-issuance not possible for IBK BC card)
- Re-issuance not possible upon expiry
- Registration application not required
- Check limit with respective companies

- Return card to managing department when the initial purpose of issuance is no longer valid (due to retirement, end of research period, expiry, re-issuance, etc.)
- Self-cancellation not possible for corporate research fund cards
- Report loss of card to card company, and notify managing department
