  • Payments may be made below the minimum threshold in case of budget shortage, provided that Attachment 2 is submitted to the research supporting department.

Uniform payment amount cannot be calculated on a daily basis.

New research participation confirmation can be written by adding student researchers as recipients of payment from department integrated accounts through internal meetings during the semester.

  • Proof of adjustment (internal meetings of department) of uniform payment recipients should be entered in the integrated management system.
  • Student labor costs cannot be entered for past months, but may be entered for the previous month before the payment application deadline.

Change of confirmation of research participation
  • Changes cannot be made to completed research participation confirmation forms except in the following cases:

    • Signing/change/suspension/termination of research and development project agreement
    • Change in academic status of student researcher
    • Personal circumstances of student researcher
    • Where it is impossible for the student research to perform duties due to illness, unavailability, criminal prosecution
  • Student labor costs in past months cannot be changed when changing the confirmation of research participation, except in the following cases:

    • Changing student labor costs of the previous month when the payment application has not been made and the application deadline has not passed
    • Changing student labor costs to KRW 0 of past months for which payment application has not been made
Application for payment of student labor costs
  • Account managers of principal investigator integrated accounts and department integrated accounts must complete payment applications for student labor costs of students specified in the research participation confirmation within the payment application period.
  • Applications for payment of student labor costs cannot be made for past months, except where applying for payment of student labor costs of the previous month when the application has not been made and the deadline has not passed.
Management of integrated account execution ratio

Account managers of principal investigator integrated account and department integrated account shall ensure a student labor cost execution ratio of at least 70% in each year, and calculate the execution ratio as follows (execution ratio of each integrated account is calculated automatically in the system).

    • Total payment of student labor costs in applicable year of execution ratio calculation ÷ (Balance of student labor costs in previous year+Amount transferred as student labor costs of each national project in research period falling under applicable year of execution ratio calculation)
  • Department integrated account
    • Total payment of student labor costs in applicable year of execution ratio calculation ÷ (Balance of student labor costs in previous year+Amount transferred from principal investigator integrated account in applicable year of execution ratio calculation)
